You said it, Jordie. 

The part about colorists making or breaking a comic is especially true.  I’ve been on both sides of that fence, and having a colorist who knows what they’re doing makes all the difference in the world.

We need to reward and encourage the ones who do a good job so that we can keep them around.  I’ve known colorists who have left the biz because they felt like they’d hit a low ceiling in their profession, and we can’t let that happen anymore. 

Let’s give the colorists the respect they deserve!

Refusal of professional colorists to be listed as guests at your convention is extremely ignorant.

Your archaic view of creatives is part of what keeps jobs of this industry undervalued….
